🧾 Added today — still correctable
These are today's entries from the permanent record below — not extra copies. Whoever added an entry can correct it here until midnight. After that it stays in the register and only the admin can change it.

🏥 Clinic / Hospital Information
🩺 This is the one place clinic details are kept. The welcome screen you saw at first run writes to these same fields — it is not a second copy. Doctor names, registration numbers and qualifications live under Doctors below, one entry per prescriber.
The first-time setup asks for a short version of what is on this card, plus your first prescriber. It writes to these same fields and to Doctors — it never creates a second copy.
👨⚕️ Doctors
Names appear in visit forms and reports. The registration number prints on prescriptions. Adding an email links this doctor to their login — without it they can still be a prescriber, but cannot sign in.
Taking on a doctor from a specialty you don't run yet? Just pick it in Default specialty — the app will offer to switch that specialty on for the clinic.
🔑 About the passcode. It is asked for only when someone prescribes under this doctor's name using a shared clinic login. It is a courtesy lock between colleagues, not security — it is stored on the device and anyone who can open the device can find it. Real proof of who prescribed comes from that doctor having their own login.
🔑 Give a doctor or physiotherapist their own login
Each prescriber should sign in with their own login, so every prescription carries their name and registration number. It takes two steps and nothing needs changing anywhere else.
✉️ A prescriber signs in with an email address, not a mobile number — so they can reset their own password.
📝 Prescription Templates
The symptom, diagnosis, procedure and advice buttons that appear on the prescription page. Switch on the specialties your clinic runs, and edit any list to match how you actually write.
These starter lists are only a suggestion. Please read through each one and change it to suit your practice before your staff rely on it.
The tick-list and the switches below are the same setting shown two ways — use whichever you prefer.
Use these to move a template between clinics — useful when a pilot clinic has refined its lists and you want to reuse them.

Tap Check to look for duplicate patients and shared UHIDs.
📊 Trend Graphs
Tick the measurements worth watching over time. When a patient is linked on the prescription page, each ticked one with two or more readings is drawn as a line — so you can see at a glance whether they are getting better.
Readings come from three places automatically: vitals, results typed into Investigations done, and the outcome measures on your quick templates. Nothing extra needs entering.
🧪 Investigation Units
When a test is picked on the prescription page, its unit fills itself in. The app already knows the common ones — use this to correct any that your lab reports differently, and to add tests we don't know.
blood sugar = mg/dL covers fasting, post-prandial and random.👥 Staff logins & access
Add a staff member (receptionist, physio). Generate a code, share it with them, and they set their own login on the activation page. Staff can view and create records but cannot edit or delete.
📱 No email? They can use their 10-digit mobile number instead, with a password they choose. No SMS is sent — the number is just their username. Note: if they forget that password, only you can reset it (in Supabase), because there is no inbox to send a reset link to.
Your own admin login always sees everything. Money figures are off by default so the clinic's takings stay with you.
💰 Default Fees
Two consultation fees. Rename them to suit your clinic (e.g. "Skin / Dermatology", "Paediatrics"). The name shows on the bill, WhatsApp, reports and exports. Choose the names before you start billing — older bills will show the new name too.
Add as many as you need (e.g. "Skin consultation", "Follow-up visit", "Physician"). They appear on New Visit; each prints and reports under its own name.
Leave a box blank to use the clinic default above. The fee is filled in automatically when that doctor is chosen on New Visit — it can still be changed on the bill.

🩺 Procedures
Add the procedures your clinic charges for, each with a rate. These appear in billing on every device of the clinic.
Only adds names you don't already have. Fees are starting values for a small clinic — edit them here; they reach every device.
Changing a rate in the list above saves it straight away — a green tick confirms it.

🔒 ArcRx privacy & sharing
The ArcRx team never sees your patients — no names, phone numbers or records. It sees only counts: how many visits, prescriptions and bills, which app version each login uses, and which pages are used, so that problems are fixed early.

⚠️ Data Management
Full backup is every patient, prescription, investigation, medicine, purchase, expense and setting in one file — use it before switching devices. Excel workbook is one spreadsheet with Visits, Patients, Stock, Purchases and Expenses sheets, for your accountant or analysis.
Bring in a patient list or a medicine list from an old register or another system (CSV file — most systems offer "Export to Excel"; save as CSV), or restore a full backup taken from ArcRx. Every import shows a preview first and only adds — nothing is deleted.
An older version of this app could briefly show a device's leftover data from whichever clinic used it last, before the next clinic's login cleared it — nothing was ever accessible in the cloud, but it could appear on screen for a moment. Fixed since v10.18. This is the record of every clinic switch this device has been through, so nothing about that history is invisible.
When you upload a new app version to Netlify, all your data is safe. The app automatically migrates patient records, bills, medicines and settings on the first open. A backup copy is saved locally before every migration.
Prescriptions now carry a diagnosis code and a medicine id so they can be counted. Nothing about prescribing has changed.
